ABOUT THE FOUNDER
SALVA was created by Daniela Ibarra-Hernandez, a student entrepreneur at CU Denver. Born from a deeply personal experience navigating the lack of dignified solutions for saliva management, what began as a personal frustration quickly revealed a much larger medical need that few openly discussed.
Determined to transform that challenge into innovation, Ibarra, set out to design a product that blends real-world function with medical insight.
Along the way, what started as an individual search for solutions grew into a broader community. One committed to dignity, awareness, and practical tools for those facing saliva management challenges.
